The ancient world was filled with wooden boxes, but none as mysterious as the Pompeii Sorcerer’s Box. Discovered by Archeologist in the ruins of the Roman city of Pompeii, the Sorcerer’s Box was at first a challenge to open. It seemed it’s owner had insured that it would protect their property from prying eyes well into the future. Once the secret to opening the container was discovered, it was found to hold charms, beads and other strange relics that are stll being researched to this day.
