Like many bipedal dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus Rex was historically depicted as a 'living tripod', with the body at 45 degrees or less from the vertical and the tail dragging along the ground, similar to a kangaroo. There were carnivorous creatures from the Upper Cretaceous period, whose name was thought to mean Tyrant Lizard King. Tyrannosaurus Rex had 50 saw-edged, pointed teeth up to 25 cm in length.
The skin was the same texture as an alligator but the color is unknown.
